I have experience designing, deploying, and maintaining reliable and performant Linux-based services which can sustain heavy workload for extended periods. I have a Red Hat Certified Engineer certification and I am comfortable leveraging deb and rpm-based distros to deploy services. I prefer working on Linux systems because of the fine-grained control of the OS's configuration. The tooling available and customizable environment for Linux based services is unparalleled. Additionally, I am knowledgeable securing Linux-based services adhering to the principle of least privilege via Discretionary Access Control and Mandatory Access Control models. I am comfortable building utilities and automation scripting using Python, Golang, Java, C, and BASH.
